Dr. David Hobson serves our association as Director of Missions.  Dr. Hobson served on bi-vocational church staff for a little over 15 years before coming to Mud Creek in 2018.  He holds a Bachelor's Degree in Religion from Samford University, Master of Divinity from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary, Doctor of Education in Administration from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary, and is currentl a Ph.D student at Liberty University.  He and Lauren were married June 1, 2019 and they have a 4 year old silver lab named Jack and a daughter, Ellie Blair, that was born January 18, 2024.  Full-time, Dr. Hobson is a high school Government/Economics Teacher, Athletic Director, and Coach at Dallas County High School.  In his spare time he enjoys anything theology, history, is a former church band musician, as well as all sports but particularly Alabama Football and Softball, and Atlanta Braves Baseball.  

Pastor David serves as Senior Pastor of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church.

Bro. Lance serves as a deacon and layman at Union Hill Baptist Church.
